Two important people in the history of macrobiotics are Georges Ohsawa and Michio Kuchi. They have brought macrobiotics to Europe and the United States. Their teaching approach was very different, but both in their own way they have made an enormous contribution to the awakening and education of large groups of people in the prosperous western world. They have thought us that healing is possible at any time, if only we take into account the natural order of the universe.
